We appreciate what a difficult time it is losing a loved one. There is all the emotion alongside all the practicalities and arrangements to be made often in a short space of time. We understand this and offer you a discreet and dignified complete service. We have been hosting events for these occasions since 2010 and have seen an increased popularity of life celebrations – a true celebration of your loved one often months after the funeral once all the practicalities have been dealt with. Whatever you choose, Very Vintage will help you and bring everything you need for a vintage afternoon tea.

At your time of loss

What can you expect from very vintage tea party?

We will guide you through the complete process from start to finish. Our team will arrive to set up in your chosen venue. If you are attending the funeral, upon your return your afternoon tea will be being laid out by our servers. You may choose a buffet style set up or a more formal table set up. We are very used to working in private homes as well as halls, gardens, and marquees. Your afternoon tea is baked and prepared by our trusted team, set up and served on our beautiful vintage china and served by us. We will always have a team size appropriate to your guest numbers. Our team will help serve you for two hours which is usually the right amount of time that you will need. We will then clear everything away for you giving you the time to enjoy the people you are with.

We have hosted many, many life celebrations, wakes and funerals since we began in 2010. We find so often that our customers want reassurance that the catering side of your day is taken care of and in safe hands. You can be sure that we will do this for you taking away at least some of the stress and planning that comes with organising such an occasion.

We will help you quickly, compassionately, and professionally with all your funeral catering requirements.

Our team are sensitive to a family's grief and will remain as unobtrusive throughout the afternoon tea as possible, dealing with the service in a quiet, professional manner.

Our styling - Everything is served on Vintage bone china. We provide everything you will need, crockery glassware and table linen.
